Patrick Serda has become the 2018 World Poker Tour Champion at the Playground Poker Club in Montreal. Serda, an ex-waiter from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, took first prize and a monetary win of $668,388.

The final table was no amateur test. This group of poker sharks put in a valiant effort but it ended up being Patrick Serda vs. Ema Zajmovic heads up.

Not only did Serda win over $650k in this event but he also qualified for the season ending Tournament of Champions. With over 790 entrants into the WPT Montreal it was defined no easy task.
